How to Get a Stuck Sim Card Out of a Samsung
-
I have a galaxy s6 active and the sim card is now jammed, without the tiny tray, inside the phone. Is there any way I can get it out or possibly take apart the phone? There's no skews in the active.

You don't have to take the phone apart. I successfully used a tiny flathead screwdriver and carefully pried it out. Took a while, but I was very careful. 11 year old son pushed it all the way in without the tray.

I had the same problem, but I solved it, my sister put a full size sim card without the tray, So the solution to this problem is : You use sewing needle, that you heat up with a lighter or candle, and you insert this needle in the stuck simcard as deep as you can, and wait 2 sec before trying to pull of the needle. You may have to try is a couple of times, but try to heat the needle a lot and handle with tweezer or something. That will definetely work, because that works perfectly for me, don't try to open the phone it's just a pain in the *** to reassemble it after.

I had the same problem, and I simply used a very thin toothpick, which I split in two, and fit the pointed ends on either side of the chip, slid them in as far as I could, and was able to easily slip the chip out using a little outward pressure on the toothpicks. I'd make a video, but dont have a camera or a spare phone. It was easy however. Good luck!

I used an old credit card and cut the end of it the size of the sim card, about 2 inches long. Used super glue gel on the edge of the card and carefully attached it to the Sim card. Let it set for a few seconds and Sim slides out.

I jammed the card in without the frame and was able to use an eyeglass screwdriver from a repair kit to gently ease it out...

Hi,
This is a really good idea. I was even able to remove the part of the sim card tray that was jammed in.
I have uploaded the video of how I did it.
Thanks a lot.
